Allegrini Amarone
Wine Review

Allegrini Amarone Valpolicella Classico 1998

Never disappoints Amarone Allegrini, red, powerful and elegant, the drying is performed on trellis with rare skill.

This wine is very fine at nose, concentrated, ripe fruit (not overripe), black cherry, sour cherry and blueberry, floral notes and an elegant mineral.

The taste is literally explosive, immersive, round, from the final ending, correspondent and perfect.

The alcoholic power reaches almost 16° is literally overshadowed by the wealth of extract and the softness of fruits.

One wonders how it is that gigantic wines like Amarone, still can't carry the DOCG, like other great red wines of Italy.
